Cacicambra, S.A. is the largest company in the Portuguese armoury sector. It is a commercial firm that represents many of the leading brands of firearms, ammunition, clothing and specific accessories.
The company holds the Armoury permit nr. 1, issued by the Ministry of Internal Administration, and is certified as SME Leader. Cacicambra is also authorized by the Ministry of National Defense to trade in military goods and technologies for Security and Law Enforcement sector.
The main business activity is the wholesale distribution to the national gun stores. End consumers are also addressed through the retail business unit, comprising own stores and other means.
Modern and complete working environment
A few years ago, the company has made a strong investment in complete and modern own facilities. The current business headquarters was purposely built for this activity, and as such contemplates an excellent safe house (with capacity for 5 thousand firearms), over 1.300m2 of warehouse space (with capacity for 5 million rounds of ammunition), a fully equipped workshop for technical assistance and an exclusive underground shooting range (suitable for the zeroing of rifles, with live fire). Besides the well-equipped administrative area, the facilities also include an independent storage for clothing and footwear, a 300m2 showroom and a classroom.
Skilled people
Human resource structure dedicated to sales action. Besides shop staff, we are a 13 people team comprising: two external salesmen, an internal salesman dedicated to sport shooting and another specialized in hunting, a sales assistant, post-sales service manager and other qualified staff always assisted by the top management.
Beyond borders
Beyond national distribution, Cacicambra has successfully invested and directed work to the export activity, in particular to Mozambique where it has an established presence in several areas: Security and Law Enforcement, hunting grounds, a gun-store in Maputo, a firearm repair workshop. The company also assures the regular supply of several clients in other Portuguese speaking African countries, with special mention to Angola - a promising market.
Marketing activities
It is our purpose to create a balanced below and above the line approach, focused on the target audience. Our campaigns are well coordinated with our gun store clients, in an effort to prevent inconsistencies in the information flow.
